Thrifted top/jeans/blazer/heels, Wristology watch c/o, Payless clutch

You guys, I thrifted 7 jeans. Are they real? Doubtful... but they're as close as I'm getting to real. Maybe if I look closely at the tag they're really 17 jeans, and that's ok with me if that "1" saved me over $150.

It's just like when I sneak candy into the movie theater from the dollar store. While everyone else is eating $10 Sour Patch Kids, I'm eating $1 Sour Kiddos. Like Shakespeare said, candy by any other name will taste as sweet.

  1. Uhh, that's awesome! I bet they're real 7 jeans. I've seen some crazy expensive things at thrift stores that make me wonder "why??? why would someone not want this??"

  2. I love that you quoted Shakespeare :) I definitely do the same thing when I go to the movies! Such a classic look - love the blazer and blouse, and it's so awesome that you thrifted some Sevens!

  4. The jeans look great! I love the color of the blouse and the blazer is a great cut too! Do you have to tailor a lot of your thrited finds or do you spend a lot of time making sure you find your size?

  5. That blouse is beautiful, and you've given me an idea to style my boot cut jeans!

  9. Wow you find some really great stuff on thrift stores. I don't have that much luck or maybe its the lack of patience to calmly go through every rack until you find those hidden gems.

  11. They look close enough to the real thing for me! I thrifted a 7 shirt once and was pretty excited about that! They can be found!

Oh we totally sneak in our own candy to the movies too. It's not worth paying $10 for what they sell!

Doll, who cares if they are fake. I don't care if I find a pair of jeans that looks great at WalMart! They fit and make my butt look amazing, I'm getting them. No shame.

  27. That is awesome! We'll just pretend they're real, even if they aren't. But you never know! I thrifted a Diane Von Furstenburg shift/blouse the other day and sat there wondering if it was a fake tag or if it was real. And turns out... it's real.
We sneak dollar candy into the theater every time. Why pay $7 for a package you can get at the dollar store (knockoff brand) for way less?

  28. Your dorky follower here. I thought, Wow 7 pairs of jeans! Why do I admit these things? Yes, I am familiar with 7 for Mankind jeans for the record. Does that redeem me in the slightest? Superb fit, and length for you. And I love that clutch.

  54. Oh dear, you made me laugh so hard over the candy thing. I always sneak my candy in as well. It's like hmmm, $6 for a tiny box of candy from the concession stand or sneak in a $1 huge box of candy? The big box wins every time.
I'm impressed that you thrifted such nice jeans, those are hard to find! Every now and then I find a gem in the jean aisle but it's usually full of old navy and lee jeans. These look fantastic on you and I really like them with the classic blazer and the bright top.

  58. Thanks, Laura! I try not to thrift things that don't fit right because I know I'll never get around to altering them. Which is why I rarely thrift jeans... they usually don't fit right, but these ones worked! Usually the biggest alteration I'll do with a thrift store find is take up the hem.
