This past weekend I dog-sat this little guy for my parents. We walked, played in the grass, ate treats, and watched Teen Mom. It was fun being a dog owner for the weekend... except when I had to wake up early and wait in the cold while he peed and sniffed a rock for 25 minutes.
I think my cat knew that I was spending time with another animal because I came home to this.
Haha cats are so funny! Your parents' dog is so cute. I'm glad you had a fun time! Yea, the early morning outdoors time in the cold is not so fun.

What a little cutie! A much as I love my dog, it's much harder to keep her happy in the winter. I'm just not as interested in long walks and standing at the dog park for hours on end.

As I'm not a fan of being out in the cold, I think the best trick we taught our dog is to pee on command - we just say "take a break", and she squats right down. Also the money to put in a backyard fence was well spent - helps me like being a dog owner more :)

ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet dog, it's great fun looking after someone else's dog for a bit, we look after my sisters labrador every now and again. We don't like the early morning walkies either haha. But she is so loving and great fun so we soon forget that. She is like my best friend when she comes to stay, follows me everywhere and tries to sit on me all the time (as a labrador she is quite big lol and I am only very small).

I will probably dream about them tonight haha, I get like that when I see something I really love but can't afford to buy straight away. I have been wanting some wellibobs for ages as the weather is so wet here and when it is not snowing it is raining. I have wet feet, I might grow fins!!
