Thrifted top/jeans/bag/shoes

Please excuse the stamp on my right hand. We went out Saturday night and this is my hungover Sunday brunch outfit - French toast with a side of aspirin, please.

We had a lot to celebrate... Kevin started a new job, hockey is back (wearing my team's colors in this post), and we signed a lease on a new place! We're moving into a cozy duplex in March. It's a little run-down, but nothing that my collection of bird knick-knacks can't fix hide. Kevin's excited because it's closer to our jobs and we'll save on gas, and I'm excited about the important stuff... bigger closets.

  3. Hockey, huh? Something I didn't know about you!

I'm so glad you found a new place- that's so exciting. And bigger closets are definitely important. I kicked Curtis's stuff out of "our" closet two years ago. I had to.

  4. I spent my weekend yelling at my hockey team on TV. Such a love/hate relationship with them right now haha.
Congratulations on the new duplex and Kevin's job! Can't wait for pictures.

  30. The best thing about living with a boy roommate is that he doesn't care about closet space at all and invited me to use his. I love it when he asks permission to take one of my 2200 coats off its hanger so he can use just one in our shared foyer closet.

This looks comfortable and cute at the same time, which I really think is the holy grail of clothes.

  35. Duplex living is the way to go. We live in the basement of a 1960s house; it's cheap for the area considering that we have three rooms in addition to the kitchen and living room. At first I thought your purse is one I just sold at my etsy store, but it's just really similar. - Leah, leahwise.com
