Thrifted top/skirt/beanie, Target scarf, Old Navy trench, Seychelles wedges via DSW

My last thrifted pink pencil skirt shrunk, and my pesky ribs kept getting in the way of me wearing it. I went on a thrifting mission for a new one, and after 4 months I finally found one that's the perfect shade of pink... and as an added perk I can breathe and sit in it.

Some may call it luck, but I call it thrifting-twice-a-week-for-12-weeks-and-not-giving-up. Patience is key, which is easy to say now but is not what I told myself each time I left the thrift store without a pink skirt.

I too love thrifting. It's all about the possibilities. Enter with an open mind; leave with a treasure. But then there is the beast known as the thrift mission. I'm on one now. A men's tie in light, bright colours. Eighties, but not screaming Sonny Crockett. I'm so happy you found your pink skirt. It looks adorable on you, and it gives me hope that my tie will find me soon. Love your cable knit beanie too.
