F. 21 sweatshirt, Gap pants & scarf, TOMS shoes, Fossil bag
I've always loved Halloween. Dressing up, going door-to-door collecting cavities, and getting a good laugh seeing what women try to make look sexy (seriously?). Not to mention picking out pumpkins, carving them, and then eating baked pumpkin seeds for 3 weeks straight.
I always have huge expectations each year for my pumpkins. I envision myself carving the Mona Lisa without a stencil, and it being so impressive that it wins contests and makes me rich.
Leonardo da Vinci's got nothing on this...

Cute pumpkin! :) Love the colours in your outfit with the matching scarf and jeans :)

That is one fabulous pumpkin! I always have lofty plans for mine and it almost always turns out to be a big fail (if I even have the patience to finish).
ReplyDeleteAw that last picture is adorable! I used to have a black cat (sadly he passed away) so I have a soft spot for them :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, I do the same thing with my pumpkins too! You looks beautiful as always!
ReplyDeleteWow, those costumes are terrible. I've never been a fan of Sexy ________ . People need to be a bit more creative :) I love your pumpkin!
ReplyDeleteyou look adorable! and girl, you did a better job with your pumpkin carving than me! i am TERRRRRIBLE at pumpkin carving!
ReplyDeleteHey, that looks better than any pumpkin I've ever carved! Cute scarf, by the way.
ReplyDeleteGreat carving! I haven't done a carved pumpkin in years. I would like to one of these years, but we tend to not be home on Halloween a lot of times and I don't want it getting stolen and smashed. Love the kitty too.
ReplyDeleteI love those pants and scarf!!
Cute outfit! Your cat is adorable, too!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, a sexy hot dog. Who doesn't want to be that?! Have you seen the site where they compare mens and women's versions of the same costume? Don't get me started! Anyway, I love this look and your cute pumpkin (and seasonally appropriate black cat)! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are wonderfully chic, my friend!
ReplyDeleteah, these shoes are stunning and your cat's a cutie!

The printed scarf is gorgeous. You choose simple, but artistic backgrounds. It goes so well with your outfit. :) I love pumpkin carving fun, we carved pumpkins on the weekend over a co-workers house. Good job on yours!
ReplyDeleteI like your Mona Lisa! And I love halloween too. Its a good thing that "sexy" Hamburger had seesime seeds on the top bun -- otherwise we wouldn't have known what it was!
ReplyDeleteLMAO your pumpkin looks like my pumpkins! I love your scarf and colors today!
ReplyDeleteI love your pants! I wish they were mine!

haha, those costumes are ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe the stuff people wear on Halloween, I'm all for wearing whatever you want, but those were just a step too far. I had a great time on Sunday morning watching lots of students wandering around in their costumes from the previous night. Love this outfit, that scarf is gorgeous xo
ReplyDeleteIn Italy we haven't a strong Halloween tradition, so I'm always very curios to know how you really live this period!! ps. I like the color of your pants!
ReplyDeleteThe green jeans are so great, i love them with the grey sweater and that bold scarf. I always have great ideas for pumpkin carving and then get impatient half way through!
ReplyDeleteI recently found your blog and it's so cute! I love your color combo here. :D Also, I love me some sexy costumes, but... A hot dog?! A hamburger?! What?!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Halloween is my favorite holiday, with Samhain being my favorite Sabbat. Wonderfulness!
hhahah cute pumpkin :)
ReplyDeleteI think your pumpkin looks so cute! You definitely have my favorite fall outfits and this is no exception!
ReplyDeleteYour hair has grown so long since I haven't seen you! :) But you still look great and happy! :) Love your colour instincts - how the exact same green shade returns on the scarf. Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteIs that a sexy hamburger?! Ha!
ReplyDeletehello beautiful! Lovely post:)

ReplyDeleteI got a bird scarf at Gap last year, but yours is WAY prettier- I love that jade green (and your corduroy Toms are perfect for fall. I want a pair but can't decide what color/fabric, etc!)!!

Well I think you did a pretty good job carving that pumpkin up anyway! At least it's symmetrical haha! And whyyy do Halloween costumes have to be sexy? So much more fun when they're just straight up silly :)
ReplyDeleteLife etc
Oh my goodness, you make a gray sweatshirt look awesome and stylish! I am crazy about how you paired it with those cool loafers and your green pants, that scarf is the perfect little addition to the look. (And awesome pumpkin. You even have a black cat to go with it!)

Your scarf suits you so well, I love it!

ReplyDeleteYou look wonderful in these bright colors.
ReplyDeleteCould you be any more adorable lady friend!? That pumpkin is quite the work of art (I am too much of a baby, and have left mine au naturale this year), and I am OBSESSED with your use of scarves lately!

Here&Now
Love the green and grey combo!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Cute pumpkin x
ReplyDeleteHaha, Katie! You know, when I linked to those I actually was worried that someone might be dressing up as a hot dog or hamburger for Halloween and I'd offend them...
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with this scarf. I waited until it was on clearance and snagged it for $7! As for TOMS, they are SO comfy. My friend got these for me, her roommate at the time worked for TOMS so she got them for close to nothing. I want more!
I guess it has, huh? I am due for a trim.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Angie! Good to 'meet' you :) I know... I think sexy costumes can be cute, and it's fun to dress differently for Halloween than you do every day, but sexy fast food? Ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteI love Halloween too! I look forward to it every year.
You're right! I do appreciate that :) SO ridiculous... the corn is the best/worst.
ReplyDeleteLove this cute and comfy look, fun!

Hahahaha! I'm the same way with pumpkins... If I can draw on paper and have time and patience, then it will be the most amazing pumpkin ever made, right? No.
ReplyDeleteI can't BELIEVE the food costumes!!
P.S. Your hair is getting so long!
