Maybe I've been watching too much Breaking Bad, but I swear there was an amateur drug deal going on across this street from this photo shoot. Apparently they didn't see me as a threat because they continued their transaction as if nobody was around. Meanwhile, Pippi Longstocking is jumping up and down across the street with a camera.
I think I may have jumped the gun on pulling out my fall clothing. I felt one breeze yesterday and suddenly I was unpacking my boots, scarves and gloves. It was definitely a little early for this outfit, and between the drug deal and sun beating down on me, I was one sweaty girl.

ReplyDeleteFirst, that skirt = love.
ReplyDeleteSecond, I know how you feel about the weather. My last two misfit outfits were planned with much cooler weather in mind. I might have to do some last minute tweaking so I'm not miserably sweaty for the next couple of days!

Message me and lets talk.

Obviously you get this ALOT but... please don't call me creepy when I say I just fell in love with you in all your blog-ness :/ Mmmmm- I love a good awkward beginning! I could go through and comment on each outfit I want to steal but it would get to be obnoxious. Do you seriously do all these pictures yourself with just a tripod?! Because- I'm about a heartbeat away from taking a trip to Best Buy now... even though its 10 pm. Needless to say I'll be by more often and will continue snooping your lovely piece of the net!

Love how you styled this blouse... so pretty with the mustard and gray. :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice!!!
ReplyDeleteLet me tell you this story: some shirttail relatives were having their wedding & reception at an inner-city "its cheap" location - one that was surrounded by a high wired fence ... oh-kay. Everything was way late getting started so I walked outside to have a smoke. It's probably around three o'clock in the afternoon - and there, at the four-way intersection, there was a drug dealer literally running up to a vehicle waiting at the red light - "customer service with a smile"?!!! I was incredulous! And in fact I wound up missing anything past the wedding, because, when I saw that, I was on my cell phone, gasping this out to a friend, who was like - JEAN! LEAVE! NOW!
this outfit is so perfectly early fall-ish!
ReplyDeletep.s. i just found your blog through a pretty penny and the bird graphics are so adorable!
